In the cemetery, now black and gloom;
The graves are lying, sobbingly.
It's time for our segregation:

It's a ritual, an endless ritual,
Where they play the dance of death, a danse macabre
Of the skeletons with a satin mantle,
And their queen is singing at a clavier.

It's a feast here, in the night.
At the cemetery we can only hear whispers,
Whispers from the graves so distant,
Where the only thing we see is the funeral.
